Minor Bantam Team Games
Welcome Coaches, players and Parents to a new season of Hockey for KMHA Boys Minor Bantam. We are looking forward to another great season of hockey!
Please refer to the rest of the articel posted!!

As the Convenor for Minor Bantam I wanted to reveiw a few items so that everyone has a clear understanding of how the season will progress.

*All teams will play 22 games(Cyclones & Vipers have 21 and will get another scheduled game)
*Most games will be played Fridays and Sundays with a few exceptions now and then.
*Practices - should be scheduled the week of Oct 4 as not yet posted.
*With 10 teams and 22 games to be played, some teams will play each other twice and some 3 times.
*New this year is a Year End Tournament for hockey eliminating Play-off season. This will provide more consistancy to games played with very little rescheduling.
*Standings will still be generated as this will be the deciding basis for positions in the Year End Tournament.
*Jason Cripps Tournament dates TBA, however will start right after Christmas.
*All teams are allowed one tournament for which this one game will be rescheduled.
*There are two weekends, one in October and one in November where we will be affected for games because of Tournaments Kitchener hold every year. Dates will follow.
*Minor Bantam Select Team - they are allotted 2 tournaments during the season of House League and these dates are posted under League News.
*NOTE: When the Minor Bantam Select Team is playing in their tournament, any House League games scheduled during these tournaments will still be played minus the Select Players. No games will be rescheduled for Select Tournaments.
*Minor Bantam Select regular games shall not interfer will House Leagues games.
*Practices will be shared by two teams to create a more involved strategy of coaching and training their teams.
*All Players drafted for Select are required to attend all house league practices so training and coaching is consistant for team success.

Notes for Parents - Remember to reach out to other parents on the team if you need to schedule a way for your child to get to a game or practice. It is understandable that this will happen, however, many parents will gladly support the request of another parent(s) in need.
