Playing Red made us Blue!
A great effort by team Blue came up a bit short against our friends on the Red team last Thursday.
Play went back and forth for most of the game until Red slipped one in late in the 3rd period. An empty netter made the final 2-0. Team Blue were able to get up and down the ice quite well except for that last 10 ft. in front of the Red goalie. Shots were in short supply as our boys couldn't turn the chances into shots. Our 2 a day weight training starting next week :) should look after that and the boys will win all their puck battles and turn those chances into goals. Congratulations to Ethan S who took home the Blue Helmet after a fine two way effort from his defensive position.
Next up for Team Blue is the Stratford Warriors tonight, practice Wednesday, then 6 games and a practice in 9 days to finish up the playoff round robin. Bring your best every night and we'll move on to the semi finals.
