2nd place and waiting for an opponent.
Sunday night Team Blue travelled to Waterloo and came home with a 4-0 win. The outcome was never in doubt as we scored on the first shift and never looked back.
Vance, with some help from Kyle M, was at his best but, the real story was our relentless forecheck. Our wingers and centres refused to let Waterloo out of their zone. This resulted in many scoring chances. Our heads up play was also a factor with tape to tape passes leading to 3 of the 4 goals.
Congratulations to Daniel, Dawson, and Ethan S with 2, for their goals and to Blue Helmet winner Daniel for his great two way play as well as some fantastic passes. (you know you're on top of your game when your teammates are buzzing about the way you played)
Now we wait to see if we are playing Burlington or Black in the semis.
