Great comeback keeps Blue in the semis!
An outstanding effort by a short staffed Team Blue.
With Blue short 2 players and with 2 players sick but at the game Blue came back from a 4 -2 deficit in the third to tie Burlington 4-4 in the second game of the 4pt. semis. Team Blue held 1-0 and 2-1 leads before Burlington stormed ahead by 2. Breakaway goals by Ethan S. and Nathan brought our team all the way back and got a well deserved tie in Burlington. Ethan S with the opener followed by Daniel were the other scorers for the away team. Congratulations to Blue helmet winner Nathan for his great two way effort.
All our boys deserve congratulations as they brought their A+ game with their backs against the wall. Thanks Will, for moving back and doing a great job on defence.
This game was a must tie/win game for us as we lost on Saturday 2-0. Our team was flat in that game with everyone bringing their B game except for Vance who was outstanding in net and won the Blue helmet.
