Mighty Ducks Make History
The Novice House League Mighty Ducks won the city championship on Saturday morning at Don McLaren arena.  In doing so, this Mighty Duck team became the first to win the A Division championship in KMHA history.

The Mighty Ducks are comprised of Tyke aged players that try-out for a spot on the team, and compete together in the Novice House League, one age group up.

The Mighty Ducks went undefeated in the regular season with an extraordinary 14-0-1 record.  The majority of the games were 1 or 2 goal victories and all of league games were competitive, particulary through the final stretch of the schedule in February and March.

It was a special victory for the Mighty Ducks, who had competed very hard but lost two tournament finals during the course of the year (Bradford & Cripps).

The Mighty Ducks will now play in The Record Cup game vs the Waterloo Novice Champs, and also play a year-ending tournament this weekend, the Waterloo Wolves Fun Festival.

I would like to thank the Mighty Ducks players, parents and coaches for their committment and contribution to making this year a great hockey experience for everyone involved.

Coach Mark
