Broken guitar strings
Hey guys – sometimes when I'm playing my guitar at an event, I will break a string during a song. At first I panic, but then I realize that I still have to finish the song that my band is playing and do the best I can do with what I have in front of me.

I have to play all the notes with one less string, and while it might be a bit tough, I still have to do the best I can. Well, I think this analogy is the same as the Generals' performance today. We only had 9 players and 1 goalie...not even 2 full lines. How is it possible that we are going to make it through 3 periods when we are missing so much?

Yep, you guessed it, the Generals pulled it together and did the best they could with what they had. Double shifting and lots of water helped the Generals to stay in the game, and we ended up with a 3 – 3 tie! In my opinion, the hero of the game was Kaiym, who played forward (normally a D) and was awesome. He was the go-to guy who stepped up at this game and tried playing a new position, determined to do the best he can. A big “way to go!” to Ethan for standing tall the whole game! Tommy & Josh H. scored for the Generals, and Seth and Kaiym got assists today, but lets make no mistake, we played and earned the tie as a team.

I posted pictures of the game online.  Click on the "photos" link on the left hand side to view.
