The big blue machine rolled on to another victory Saturday, its fifth straight. Pacing the team was Hunter, notching a goal and two assists. Scott was his usual dynamic self, with a goal and an assist. The big event was Aidan G., who scored his first with a rocket from the faceoff circle, then added an assist on the last goal by Hunter. For his superb effort, Aidan was awarded the Gold Sweater!
Rounding out the scoring was Carter, Keenan and Tyler. Assists went to Aiden C., Colin, Jakob, Keenan, Charlie, and Martin on a beautiful backhand pass that broke out Scott. Way to go everyone!
We continue to get scoring from all three lines with offensive contributions from the defense, making it difficult for the other teams to contain.
Our defense and goaltending has been solid, and sometimes spectacular! Nolan hasn't let a goal in for two games.
No time to let up now! We have an epic battle for first place coming up on Dec 3 against the Red team! If we keep up the hard work, (without the mid-game let-up?) we can get the job done.
