ARRRRRR! A’Hoy There Maties! Pirate Ship Toxic Red Firing Cannons Across The Starboard Bow!
Another epic back-to-back “Battle for Glencliffe Island” match-up!
Toxic Red
had another winning weekend, beating our arch nemesis, the Orange, 5 - 1 on
Saturday and 1 – 0 on Sunday’s 24 Hour game.
Why is Red
vs. Orange so hotly contested? Do the
coaches have something riding on this?
Will the losing coach have to shovel the winning coach’s driveway? Wash their car? Wear the other team’s jersey to work? Fill the water bottles? We’ll never know, although you can certainly
feel the tension in the air.
So far this
season, the results have been:
10/01/11 –
5 – 2 Red win
11/19/11 –
5 – 1 Orange win
Jason
Cripps semi-finals – 4 – 1 Orange win
02/04/11 –
5 – 1 Red win
02/05/11 –
1 – 0 Red win
Toxic Red is
continuing to shine and playing like they did at the start of the season,
scoring 15 goals in the last 3 games, while only letting in 2. It’s certainly exciting hockey to watch. We’re proud of you guys!
