Novice Reds Go Undefeated
The Jr Rangers Novice Red have completed the first round of Hockey Alliance Tier 1 league play with a 7-0-1 record.
At this early season milestone, it's a good opportunity to pause and assess our progress individually and as a team as we prepare for round 2 of league competition and an upcoming tournament in Guelph. As a group, it is fair to say that we have taken some great strides together and have laid a very solid foundation on which to build.
At 8 years old, these young players have impressed us with their comprehension of our key team values; Leadership, Respect, Heart, Focus & Unity. This has translated into a strong team game on the ice and the early season success that they are experiencing.
The Novice Reds have enjoyed some good quality time off the ice in recent weeks at team parties and a full day of action and laughs at the YMCA Camp at Paradise Lake.
Thanks again to the coaches and parents for everything that you do to help make it a great hockey experience for the players.
