Team White Beats First Place Tigers
White invited the Hamilton Tigers to Kitchener on Saturday and skated away with a 3-1 victory.
The team knew it would take a complete effort and they delivered. With all three forward lines clicking and the defensive corps of Ben, Max, Luke, Robert, Jack and Logan playing their best, White was able to hold The Tigers to just one goal. Chase in net was the final key to victory as he turned away all but one shot.
Our players kept the Tigers penned up in their zone for most of the game. Marko got us started with a helper from Robert. Olivia collected the second goal with helpers from Preston and Luke. Preston rounded out the scoring unassisted.
Chase was the White Helmet winner for his puckstopping prowess.
We hope to see the same effort today from our team as we travel down the 401 to Woodstock.
