Playoff game #2 vs Brantford
Game two is under our belts with a disappoint loss.

Well game 2 didn't have the excitement as our first game did but a well game played never the less. We learned a very valuable lesson in this game, don't take the other team for granted and stay out of the penalty box!!! We took some lazy penalties which lucky for us didn't result in any goals but certainly changed the momentum of the game. We were playing very well and actually were outplaying Brantford until we took silly lazy penalties which Brantford took full advantage and turn the momentum into there favor. In out last game vs Waterloo we stayed out of the penalty box which allowed us to focus on our game plan and our task at hand. When we take lazy penalties its not only frustrating simply because it avoidable but it can change the entire outcome of a game.
Having said this, our power killing was fantastic and held Brantford's power play scoreless but we came up short on the scoreboard. Once again the team didn't give up, even though we lost we didn't give up, not only did we score the last goal of the game which helps carry the momentum into our next game but we scored our only goal of the game shorthanded. Well done Nick, even though we are out there trying to kill a penalty he saw the chance to put the puck in the net. Even though we lost the game we finished the game on a positive note that we could carry on to our next game.
Great effort Ranger Red keep up the hard work and be ready for St, Catherine's.
