Game 2 of the London Tournament
Great Team effort for game 2

Well the kids came to play today for our second game of the tournament, we played the London Bandit Orange team who kept us on our toes. We had a total team effort this morning and a big shout out to the parents cheering section. We couldn't have asked any more from all players. This is exactly what Coach Bob and myself knew how our team can play. We played well defensively, the forwards moved the puck well , passed well and had lots of scoring opportunities around their net. James Todd played an outstanding game in net and gave us the opportunity to win.
This is the way we knew you guys could play, they dumped and chased with excellent pressure in their end, defence owned the front of our net for the majority of the game and all players kept their feet moving well. Keep this effort up kids and we will go far in this tournament but remember, we have to earn our wins, teams just won't hand it to us. Keep skating hard, keep the offensive pressure, defence own "our house" in front of the net, tie the man up in front, don't watch were the puck is when your covering your man and play smart.
Game MVP went to Stewart Brenner for his total game effort. Stewart backchecking with precision, hassled up and down the ice for all of his shifts did an awesome jobwith his faceoff responsibilities. Great Effort Stewart, keep up the great work!
See ya a at the rink to play the London Bandits Black, let bring our game faces and win a big one!!!!!!
