Introducing the Amazing Puck Handling Atom B's
UNDEFEATED IN PRE-SEASON PLAY, NICE!
Well the season is about to start and the Lady Rangers Atom B team looks primed and ready for their upcoming tilt against Wilmot. The Girls played three games: tying Cambridge, then beating Tilsonburg and Waterloo in close fought matches. All the games were low scoring affairs but the puck control was impressive so early in the season the coaches must be pleased with how well they are working together.
Kudo's to the goaltender and her defence as Witten earned two shut-outs for an impressive start. In fact all the lines are firing quite nicely with a few changes having been made in positions already. Lines right now look to be MacDonald LW, Dawson C and Wilkinson RW then there is Dolfi LW, Crampton C, DeAndrade RW, followed by the youngest line of Schroder LW, Bean C, and Bassenese RW. All three lines are strong and bring some interesting things each shift.
The defensive pairs are strong and versatile with a number of defensive rushes already having been displayed by this creative bunch. So far the pairings look to be: Flemming and Aubin (use french accent) , Jardin (pronounced Jar din no accent required) and Ferrede , next is the youngest pairing Pope and MacMillan. This defensive squad let in O goals in two games - not bad eh?
