Fallfest Champions!
Congratulations to all the Kitchener Lady Ranger Midget "B" players and staff for their Championship win in the 18th Annual Kitchener Lady Rangers Fallfest Tournament.
Once again on behalf of Mike, Tim, Glenn and Joanne, I wanted to congratulate all the ladies on their Championship win this weekend. Although it was not the "prettiest" of Lady Ranger Midget "B" hockey, your continued efforts, hard work and heart truly made the difference in your tournament success.
The coaching staff was glad to see other Midget "B" calibre teams who offered a continuous challenge to all that has been learned to this point in the season. These are the types of teams that we will need to prepare for in practices and work hard against in games if we wish to successfully compete come February. Many thanks to the St. Clair Storm, Georgian Shores Lightning, Peterborough Ice Cats, Lambeth Lancers and the Woolwich Wild for some great games of hockey!
A special mention to both of our goaltenders. Ladies you came through time and time again when the system didn't go quite "right". Please know your efforts were greatly appreciated by all!
To the parents, thanks for your comments and support of all the ladies. Remember we continue to be a "work in progress" and are running a marathon not a hundred meter dash.
To the ladies, well deserved! Your continued hard work, team work and support for each other is heart warming. We will continue building for your future success and remain very pleased with your progress.
