Kitchener Lady Rangers Poem
We would like to tell you what are Kitchener Lady Rangers Can do,
Because our Stats on the Board aren’t quite true.
They show up for all practices as well as the games.
They are really quite classy, these Kitchener Dames.
Their hair and their make up always looks great.
And they make a good impression in their warm up skate.

Sami Dowsett, a center who can really handle the puck
She would score more goals if she only had luck
She is also our captain she skates good and fast
And from what we have heard off the ice she’s a blast.
Taryn Jakub, a winger who plays with a smile
If it weren’t for her cage you could see it for miles.
We have Stacey Gorloff, “Squirrel” as she’s known to most
She scores lots of goals and hits lots of posts.
Early this season when an injury knocked her out
Her return to the ice was never in doubt.

Julia Witmer our center who gives a hundred percent
When she returns from a shift she is totally spent.
Now there’s Becca Tsandelis who has a shot second to none
It is just like a bullet coming out of a gun.
But also with Becca, if a boy should appear
Her legs turn to jelly and her game disappears
We can’t forget Jenna who gives her best when she shows
But there was that one time she had to wear a RED NOSE!

Raquel Wilkinson’s a Centre, she skates East and West
Confusing our coaches, but our Princess Knows Best!
But if truth be known and she wants to think
She can be the straw, that stirs the drink
Stephanie Tsandelis, a winger, has a very good shot
She will score us some goals if she ever gets hot
Alissa’s a girl who’s a pleasure to coach
Skates down the ice faster then most

Our defense corps consists of six girls and their fans
If the forwards don’t back check we’re still in good hands.
Nichole Leblanc is small, but a real mighty mite
Her legs churn like fury when she’s in full flight.
Then we have “Schultzie” in the corners she goes,
Elbows and gloves flying as she dishes out blows.
She is presently injured from a hit to the head
Our opponents are happy she’s back home in bed!
Amanda Robinson can poke-check the puck off the stick
Of the best coming at her, she is really quite slick.

Meghan Mackay helps patrol our defensive zone
When she makes a mistake she hears at home!
Tori Cameron, a defenseman who passes the test
When her mind is on hockey she’s simply the best
There’s Alicia on Defense who has ringette roots
Her pink hair flies as she passes and shoots.

Our goalies are small but with big hands and feet,
Their reactions are catlike, they are sure hard to beat.
With Holly or Faith in goal for our team
We can charge down the ice with a full head of steam.

Steve Robinson’s our manager, an organized man
Without him, I think, we would need a new plan!
Our Trainers, Linda and Britt are Latvian Russian’s
They look after the players and all their concussions.

Tim Mackay is our coach and he has a difficult time
Juggling seventeen personalities to keep them in line.
His quality assistants are Jamie and Jim Their patience with refs have worn quite thin
For Christmas we need from that old Jolly Saint Nick
More goals from our girls and a new hockey stick

So that is our team in their bleu, blanc and rouge
In the 2012 Provincials this team will not lose!!!!!!!

We Would Like to Also Thank All the Girls for Donating Their Secret Santa Gifts To The Angel Tree at Conestoga Mall.

Tim and Linda
