Time to Shine: A Spotlight on Kitchener Girls
As January 22nd quickly approaches, the anticipation is rapidly building to a boiling point. With well over 700 Girls and Young Women from all over Southern Ontario getting ready to lace them up together.

Kitchener Girls Hockey Day is ready to descend on the City for which it was named, the first time ever. The Day promises to be a celebration for the community that embraces it and for the Girls whose passion for ‘The Game’ can only be described as remarkable.

For too long, the women of the hockey world have lived in the shadows of their over exposed brothers. So it is with great fanfare and appreciation that a day come to honour their courage and their skill. To showcase their talents, and their proud commitment to their craft. For these over 400 Kitchener Girls, Hockey is not just a sport; it is a way of life. This is how they communicate, not so much with words, but rather with magic and grace, ability and determination.

Please join the Girls, the Community, and the Hockey World Sunday January 22nd, pucks drop at 7:00 am and won’t stop all day. With Sponsors and Vendors on site, the atmosphere is sure to be electric and the energy at an all new high.
