When the idea of having a day dedicated to Girls Hockey came about, nobody was faster to jump on the idea than Miken, with a new line of premier quality one piece sticks and gloves just waiting for the right venue for exposure.
The Activa Sportsplex and Girls Hockey Day offers them the right chance to showcase years of research and development. Miken will come complete with their traveling “Shoot to Win” display that, for a small donation, will offer all on comers with a chance to win terrific prizes, provided you have an accurate shot. Each participant will get 4 pucks and four targets, with every target you hit you receive a ballot to enter to win a Miken Stick. Hit all four and a bonus 5th shot will be given, hit that and win instantly.
1st Impressions was also very quick to support the Girls. Official Clothing Supplier for KMHA, the local outfitting company was more than eager to come up with more than enough ideas for Girls Hockey Day items. They will be on hand for the entire event January 22nd for all your Girls Hockey Day shopping needs
570 News is another member of our community that pounced on the opportunity to help support Girls Hockey and Development, but it is more than likely you have heard the radio spots while listening Jeff Allen during your morning drive.
Sunday January 22nd is sure to offer a little bit for everyone, but most of all it is events like this that offers the most to the girls, a chance at exposure, and an outstanding chance for future opportunities.
