Never Give Up
Kitchener went to Hamilton to play against the Tigers last night.  Our never give up attitude played a big part in this game.  Connor was pretty sharp last night in net.  The goals that went in were good goals that he did not have much of a chance on.  At one point in the game he kicked out his pad with a quick reflex like save off a deflection from another player.  Other times he was positionally sound and made the save when the team needed him.  Good game Connor B.

You could tell right from the start this game was going to be a tough one. Hamilton is 3rd only 2 points behind us so we really needed to put some points up tonight and we did.  We started off the Game with a wrist shot into the top of the net by our hard hat worker of the game Cole.  He deserved that goal last night after playing in one of his best games thus far.  He was everywhere last night and it showed in his work ethic.  Great job Cole.
1-0 Kitchener.  Shortly after Hamilton tied it up with a nice one timer into our net.  1-1 tie game.  Then Owen had an unlucky moment when he was getting back in our end to cover the front of the net when the puck bounced off of his stick and into the net.  Don't worry Owen that stuff happens. 2-1 Hamilton. What was important was that we didn't focus on that and instead we put our heads down and went to work.  We went down to their end and worked it hard getting a goal to tie it up.  Duscio had another great shot from the top of the circle and put it right into the back of the net.  Jack F had a few really good rushes with the puck and played really well last night doing what he had to do to get the job done.  Scott had some Good moments on D as well clearing the puck to the corners and stoping them at the blue line many times.  Ben was good with his space last night backing up at the right moments to not let anyone get passed him.  Solid game Ben.  Maddux was his usual self skating around with speed and creating chances evertime he is on the ice.  Logan and Jack M had some good rushes with the puck they just couldn't finish their chances but they did create some good scoring opportunities.  Quinten is quietly solid all the time.  Q is allways in the game if its not on the score board its his defensive ability to shut players down.  Antonio had some good rushes down the wing and it was off one of his rushes down the wing that a goal was scored.  He took a shot and Connor went to the net and banged home a rebound to tie it up. After a bench minor from Hamilton gave us a 5-3 our skill went to work and we added another goal by Connor S to give us the lead.  4-3.  Aidan was in the mix all night as well getting to the net and not letting the goalie see to much when shots came in from the point.  It was a nail bitter last night.  Thanks to Connor our AP player who has been dynamite whenever we call him up.  Looking forward to our Burlington tournament Connor. I think the boys played a good game and the shots showed it again with 21 shots for and 8 shots against. We never gave up and these types of wins although not good for your heart they are good for character building.  Good Win Boys your coaches are very proud at how well you are responding to each game.  Keep it going against Brantford tonight Boys.
