A Trick or Two
This afternoons game saw Kitchener face off against Waterloo.  A win would put us in first place just ahead of Cambridge.  We have played one more game than Cambridge and it was a good one today.  Kitchener came out and passed the puck well and shot the puck at the net scoring and creating exciting moments on offense.  Sam was back in a big way today scoring two goals and just missing on a couple of other shots.  One flew over the net and one shot beat the goalie but hit the post.  Nice hard wrist shot and well deserving of the hard hat worker of the game today.  Great game Sam.

Antonio set up one of Sam's goals and scored a hat trick to put the game out of reach for Kitchener.  Aidan added a 1 goal, and 2 assists  playing another solid day with great puck control.  Cole worked his but off and passed the puck out front after grinding it out in the corners and was rewarded with an assist.  Maddux had some good chances today and contibuted adding an assist.  Q had some chances on a breakaway. He made a nice move, but the goalie was equal to the task.  Logan passed the puck well tonight and had some good rushes up the wing.
Our D played good today as well.  We had some scary moments but we reacted quickly and sacrificed our bodies to get in front of the shots.  Scott had some good chances and he moved the puck well.  Duscio added a helper and rifled a few shots just wide of the net.  Frazer was all over the ice today in a good way but was bailed out by Cooper a couple of times.  They take turns doing that so its ok :-) They back each other up and that's very important.  Nathan and Rochon compliment each other nicely on the ice.  They are solid D that are starting to click.  It's exciting to watch these boys put the pieces of the puzzle together.  Of course no team is complete without good goaltending.  After getting beat by a bouncing puck, Carson stood his ground and kept the puck out of our net on a few occasions.  The other goal that beat him I believe players were piled on top of him, so pretty sure he had no chance at that one.  6-2 Kitchener defeats Waterloo.  Next up Kitchener Blue on Wednesday.
Go Rangers!!!!
