MD Blue sits in 1st place as only 5 and 0 team.
A lot of tenacious backchecking has carried the Blue brothers to first place in our 13 team league with a perfect 5 and 0 record after wins against St. Catharines and Burlington. Out-shooting every team along the way has shown the coaching staff of the potent offensive potential we have in our fellas. Terrific goaltending, much-needed puck moving by our D and a strong cycle game is showing that the guys are committed to listening to the coaching staff and working to improve on the details that make teams successful. Look for the possbility of designated power play and penalty kill units in the near future as we look to hone all areas of our game. Assistant captains will be named after this weekend's games and please remind the boys to keep up with their shots (5oo in a week). Lastly sorry to say but please expect short notice on cheap ice to give us 3 practices every 2 weeks.
