Ranger Red Wins Second Straight Tournament Championship!
The Minor Midget MD Red Rangers won their second consecutive tournament championships the weekend of December 14-16, 2012 at the John MacDonald Memorial Tournament in St. Catherines, Ontario!
MD Red showed their class, team spirit and determination as they cruised to the finals with wins versus London Orange, London Black, Brampton and London Black again. In the championship round, they would face the Brantford Saints. The Rangers would not be denied as they shut-out the Saints in a tidy 2-0 victory to take home the championship!
Overall, the Rangers played to a 5-0 record with two victories by way of the shut-out. The Rangers tallied 12 "goals for" with a miniscule 4 "goals against"! In five victories, the Rangers outshot their competition 132-62!
Way to go, Rangers! Your coaches and families are proud of you!
