Ready To Begin
With the team barely 48 hours from selection camp, the Atom B Kitchener Lady Rangers hit the road to open the preseason tomorrow night in Waterloo.
As enrollment in Girl’s hockey steadily inclines, the numbers showing up for Representative Tryouts has been nothing short of impressive. With only 17 Roster Spots available and only 3 days to choose, Coach Julie and her staff had their work cut out for them.
Congratulations go out to all those who were able to secure a spot on the 2012/2013 squad but and even further gratitude to all those who came out. As the depth of talent continues to grow within the Kitchener Girl’s Hockey system, so does the level of competition in other City Centres.
Wearing and Representing the name of your City is always a proud moment, the level of dedication and perseverance displayed during Selection Camp is an early indication of how motivated this year’s group is. Seventeen Girls now have sixteen new best friends, and the Coaching Staff is now charged with turning that youthful enthusiasm into educated talent.
Lady Rangers can only go as far as their Desire and Will shall take them, and at this point for these girls, nothing seems impossible and nor should it be.
