Major Atom AAA are Alliance Champs!!! Off to OHF's
Congratulations to the Major Atom AAA's on an amazing playoff run and for capturing the Alliance AAA Championship.
The Kitchener Jr Rangers Major Atom AAA have won the Alliance Championship with a series victory over Huron Perth. After 3 game sweeps of both Waterloo & Elgin Middlesex in the previous playoff rounds, the Jr Rangers posted a 4-1-1 record over 6 games against Huron Perth to claim the title.
This team, comprised of boys from Kitchener, Baden & New Hamburg, have shown great character, focus & perserverance over the long playoff stretch which started in early February. A first round bye and delays between each series did not take the focus & energy away from this very competitive group of young men.
The team now prepares to represent the Alliance at the Ontario Hockey Federation Championships in Hamilton on April 11, 12, 13 weekend where the best Major Atom teams in the province will compete for the OHF crown.
