KMHA Grad Mike Hoffman scores 1st NHL Goal
KMHA grad Mike Hoffman scored his first NHL goal today in the Ottawa Senators 5-3 victory over the Winnipeg Jets.
Hoffman scored on the power play at 9:36 of the 2nd period. He also added an assist in the Senators win today.
Mike played his minor hockey in Kitchener and graduated to the Kitchener Dutchmen. After a short stint as a free agent with the OHL Kitchener Rangers Mike showed his offensive power in the Q where he played for Drummondville and Saint John.
Hoffman was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 5th round (130th) in 2009 and he's been a top offensive producer for the Sens AHL team Binghamton Senators.
Mike has played 12 NHL games with 8 of them being in this current season.
