One Week To Oshawa
With only a week remaining until the Lady Rangers are due in Oshawa to participate in the Fall Classic, the Belles in Blue will spend the weekend facing some very steep competition. Saturday Morning the Girls finish a Home and Home series with the Waterloo ‘AA’ Ravens having already upset them 4-3 the week prior.

Although our Ladies overcame a 3-1 deficit in that game, there will be no underestimating them in the return match. Waterloo is a very strong team up front with plenty of speed creating nightmares around the blue paint.

Following the Saturday game, the Rangers return home Sunday in a highly anticipated match against the ‘AA’ Devilettes from London. The mid-afternoon match has the girls facing a relatively unknown squad, but if history is any indication it should be a fierce battle as London is known for its aggressive approach to puck protection and ability to work the dirty corners.

After a week of hard practice, Kitchener is looking forward to more game action and the excitement is building. Keeping momentum in their favor prior to a Tournament Weekend is essential to maintaining a positive mind frame leading into a grueling schedule. Apart from playing the Host team, Kitchener will be up against ‘A’ teams from Clarington, Leaside and Barrie, all successful centers in their own right.

Starting Saturday the Lady Rangers have eight ice times in seven days and we are half a month away from the opening of regular season, at which point the girls should look mid-season form.
