2 Wins to Start the Exhibition Season
The Atom B Lady Rangers have started off their pre-season with two strong wins over quality opponents in Cambridge and Flamborough. Strong skating and hustle in the corners helped Kitchener beat the Cambridge BB Roadrunners 3-1 on Saturday. Isabella scored the team's first goal of the year to begin our run. On Sunday a spectacular passing play from Elly to Annika racing to the net proved to be the game winner in a 3-2 win over the Flamborough Falcons. Gracey also contributed to a strong team effort. Annika's first ever goal ended a play that spectators were talking about long after the game ended.
2 games this Sunday will give us more opportunity to build on these successes with a same-day home and home series against the Hamilton Hawks. Great work, ladies!
