The Lady Rangers played their last
2014/2015 LLFHL regular season “home” game against the Waterloo Ravens.
After a strong first period that saw the Rangers out chancing the Ravens, the ladies took an early 1 – 0 second period lead on a beautiful F1 to F2 play. A late period D-Zone giveaway lead to a Raven goal sending both teams to the break tied at 1. The Ravens came out flying in the third, outshot the ladies 3 to 1 and scored a late period goal in a well-deserved 2 – 1 win. Although “Meat Loaf” claimed that “two out of three ain’t bad”, hockey remains a “three” period game that requires everyone to compete for the full forty two minutes. If you chose to play anything less, you may be disappointed with the outcome.
