Kitchener Capitals Finish 2nd in St. Thomas
The Caps showed great effort from their whole lineup to finish 2nd through pool play and advanced to the A semi-finals this weekend. Using stifling team defense, they beat the Twin Centre Stars 4-2 to book their ticket to the finals to play a strong South Huron group with 9 elite skaters. The Caps couldn't bounce back from an early 3-0 deficit despite closing the gap to one goal midway through the second period. The final was 6-3 South Huron.
A special thanks to friends and family for supporting the kids in Aylmer, London and St. Thomas. Recent polls indicate that all Cap supporters will be happy to say goodbye to "blue puck" for the remainder of the kids' hockey careers!
