2015-2016 Alliance Championship Finalists!!
A wonderful season and playoff run came to a close Saturday afternoon in London...
Congratulations to the Minor Atom A Jr. Rangers...for their incredible season and playoff run during the 2016 Alliance Championships.
After finishing the play off round robin games in 2nd place out of 9 teams, the boys started the championship play downs with a 6 points to 1 point series victory over Brantford.
Next up were the 3rd place Sarnia Jr. Sting. Playing arguably their best team hockey of the season, the Jr. Rangers swept the series...and moved on to the Alliance Championship series vs the London White Jr. Mustangs.
In a hard-fought, best to 8 point series, the boys unfortunately came up a bit short...and we finished our season as the 2015-2016 Minor Atom A Alliance Championship Finalists!!!
What an incredible season fellas. From playing in an older division in our Buffalo tournament to our "Jr. Ranger Tracker" event...., from our bus ride to Sarnia in the official Kitchener Ranger bus (with "live" entertainment), to the Outdoor Winter Classic event vs Guelph AA...that ended up indoors, from the incredible support and energy that our friends, siblings and family members brought to the rink in the playoffs to Coach Ian's really bad hair-cut...we couldn't be more proud of you all!
Thank you for your hard work, your heart, and your dedication...and for making this season a special one that will not be forgotten.
