Preston International MD Tournament CHAMPS!!
The Kitchener Jr. Rangers MD Blue took to the ice early Friday morning for their 3rd tournament of the season. First up were the St. Catharines Hurricanes. With some supreme passing and great plays in front of the Hurricanes net, the Rangers were able to score in 15 goals!

Next up were the East Nipissing Vipers. The Rangers once again dominated play, netting 9 goals in a 9-1 victory. The Ancaster Avalanche came barreling at the Rangers early Saturday morning, and despite their best efforts, the Rangers lost a tough one 4-2. Finishing 3rd out of the 10 MD teams in the tournament, the Rangers faced Témiscaming Royals in the Quarter finals. It was a do or die situation, and the Rangers didn't take it lightly. They went on to beat the Royals 8-2 and onto the semi-finals. Family, friends and former teammates were forced to face off against each other in the battle of the Kitcheners in the semi final game. White vs Blue. It was a battle hard fought but with more spectacular passing, and fast skating, the Blue Rangers came up on top, 5-3, moving on to the finals. The finals had Kitchener up against Hamilton Blue, an undefeated, talented, quick team. It took 35 minutes of regulation play and 2 overtimes, but the Rangers pulled it off and once again, came out on top, defeating Hamilton 3-2!
