The Kitchener Jr Rangers Minor Atom MD Red team won their first tournament of the year playing in the Kitchener Oktoberfest Tournament. The boys came into the semi-finals with a 2-2 record. They had some ups and downs through this one and faced some very tough competition. They battled hard against the Milton Winterhawks to take the semi-finals with a 5-1 win. The finals was an exciting game with a hometown crowd as Minor Atom MD Red took on Minor Atom MD Blue. The teams were well matched and ended regular time with a 2-2 tie.
