The Lady Rangers hosted the Waterloo
Ravens in their final meeting of the season at the Activa Sportsplex.
Coming off an abysmal showing the previous evening, the Lady Rangers faced the Waterloo Ravens for their second and final meeting of the season. Opening the game with a strong first, the ladies efforts paid off in the second with Ms. Dolfi being “right where she should have been” putting the ladies up by one heading into the break. Penalty trouble throughout the game kept the score closer than it looked. Some key saves at both ends allowed the ladies to hold on to grab a well-played “two” points. We would like to remind you that it doesn’t matter what bird (Hawk or Raven), animal (Gryphon or Roadrunner), act of nature (Lightning or Twister), pest (Hornet) or anything else (Canadette or Wild) that you play against, you still have to play and compete for forty two minutes of HOCKEY!
The coaching staff would like to acknowledge Ms. Bassanese and Ms. Hepditch as the “skittles” players of the game. We have expectations of your level of play and know you have the ability to do so. That was clearly event today. Keep it up!
