The Lady Rangers travelled to the
Century Gardens arena to face the Brampton Canadettes in the final game of the
2015 / 2016 Regular Season.
Coming off of a physical game with the Saugeen – Maitland Lightning the night before, the ladies travelled to Brampton for game #22 of the regular season. Playing a smart, controlled game of hockey, Ms. Young opened the scoring with a beautiful “what the heck” return pass from Ms. Bassanese. Strong individual efforts by Ms. Dolfi and Ms. Schroder put the ladies up by three heading into the break. All the ladies continued their smart play and actually had their strongest period in the third. Congratulations on earning your final “two-points” of the regular season.
With the slumping Canadian Dollar and high “skittle” demand, the coaching staff would like to acknowledge all of the KLR Bantam “A’s” as the last “skittles” players of the game for 2015 / 2016. You’re continued hard work, effort and talk have not gone unnoticed by us. You are a wonderful group of ladies who can compete with anyone when you so choose. Keep up the hard work!
