We're in the Pool A Semi-Finals!
It's now official, we made the Pool A semi-finals! The win by Waterloo #2 last night in a close game against the tough Grand River Mustangs all but sealed it for us, but Wilmot kept it interesting by putting together a strong late season surge to end the 2nd half just a single point behind us. Congratulations to the entire team! Your tremendous effort earning 4 points in the final 3 games against all three of the Waterloo teams made the difference. Well done Blue!
We're going to need the same effort to be successful in the semi-final against Waterloo #1 following March break (date still to be determined). I'm sure that Coach Greg let everyone know that I was in a serious car accident Thursday afternoon and was in the hospital so I couldn't make it to our practice last week, but I'm doing my best to recover and am looking forward to our practice this Saturday so that we can prepare for the big game. This practice is very important, so I hope to see everyone there. Congratulations once again and see you Saturday!
