Tyke Division Champs
The Kitchener Capitals remained undefeated in KMHA play to capture the tyke division championship. We started the year end championship round Robin play with a come from behind last second 3-3 tie against the Sharks. Up next we played a strong game against the Penguins and won 5-1. In the final game of the round robin we couldn't find the back of the net and tied 0 all with the Kings.
Drawing a rematch against the Sharks in the semis we dug deep and held onto a 2-1 win. Moving on to the finals, we matched up against the Kings. The Kings opened the scoring in the first shift, but the Capitals didn't quit and battled back to tie the game. Being rewarded for our constant pressure we scored the go ahead goal. The boys continued playing their game and held on for the 2-1 victory. Jason Cripps, Mayors Cup, and year end champions! Great season Capitals!
