Our Novice
Black Rangers defeated all comers this past weekend in the Annual Bob Stark Classic
in London, Ontario. A dominating
performance, Kitchener’s finest 2009’s outscored opponents 40-5 over a four
game stretch. The onslaught was the
result of organized play, a commitment to playing at ends of the ice, and an
extremely hard-working team effort.
The coaching staff hopes to use the tournament win as a boost as we head into the toughest part of our regular season schedule so far. The Blacks have been Tiered Up to Tier 2 in the Alliance East Novice MD loop and will be playing a number of 2008’s from Brantford, Waterloo, Hamilton, and Burlington. This is a great accomplishment and we’re looking forward to a heavier dose of hockey and learning over the upcoming months.
Thanks to our kids, parents, and sponsors for all of your support this season!
