Ranger Day Nation
Our team has been selected to participate in the 8th Annual Hockey Day in Rangers Nation - 2017 Edition!   The event gives local atom house league teams from Waterloo Region the opportunity to experience life as an Ontario Hockey League player for a day. Girls' and boys' teams from Kitchener, Waterloo, and Wilmot and Woolwich townships play on the same ice surface as the Rangers and their games are broadcasted live on Rogers TV. Not only are the games shown on television, full use of the video board and loudspeakers allowed for the playing of the national anthem, player introductions, music between whistles and instantaneous replays.

Our scheduled game time is 3:00 pm

WMHA AtoMc Orange vs. KMHA AtoMc White

Teams must be at the rink no later than 45 minutes prior to your scheduled game time.

A Rangers representative will meet you inside the lobby at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex at the main stairs (next to the Key Room) where you will meet your team host and be escorted to your dressing room.

Teams must be dressed and game ready 10 minutes prior to your schedule game time. In lieu of the standard 3 minute warm-up, we will be doing player introductions and the national anthem. Players will then be given the opportunity for a quick skate around to loosen up. Please do all stretching and team warm-up in the corridor outside your respective dressing rooms.

There will be refreshments provided in each dressing room.

Player gifting will be distributed following your game in the dressing room.

A post game meal will be provided for all PLAYERS and COACHES following your game. The meal will be served approximately 25 minutes following the completion of your game.  A Rangers representative will be on hand to escort you to the room where the meal is being served. Please completely VACATE your dressing room prior to heading up for your meal.

Should you have a player with dietary restrictions or a food allergy, please notify me no later than Friday December 1st.

The Rangers team photographer will be on hand to take photos of each game. These photos will be compiled and presented on our video board during the Rangers OHL game the next day vs. the Kingston Frontenacs.

A limited portion of the Aud seating will be open for parents/spectators to watch and cheer on their teams! Please inform your parents seating is ONLY Permitted on the Players Bench side of the Aud.  We kindly ask that all spectators adhere to the designated seating area and remove any garbage/coffee cups etc. so to keep the seating area clean.

Lastly, during the day’s events, two lucky participants who have purchased tickets for the Rangers/Storm game on Sunday Afternoon will be selected to drop the Ceremonial Opening Faceoff at the OHL game on Sunday.

It’s going to be a memorable day! Please remind all parents, coaches and players that our #1 goal is for everyone to have fun and have the experience of a lifetime!

The countdown is on!
