Rangers Remain Undefeated
The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Red team remained undefeated despite a lackluster performance against the Cambridge Hawks tying 4 to 4.

The Rangers battled back from a 3 to 1 deficit to tie the game at three however fell behind a goal and had to pull their goalie to draw the tie in the game.

Jacob Reid-Brant had his second consecutive two goal game getting the first and last goals in the game. His first goal was a tip off a Kodi Blackshaw canon and his second was as the extra attacker and assisted by Ethan Lafleur.

Nicholas Zammit had back to back games with goals and was set up by Ryan McConnell and Connor Coughlin.

Carter Niall had a short handed unassisted goal to bring the Rangers to the tie at three.

Aiden Radatus started for the Rangers and uncharacteristically fought the puck at times but remained mentally strong in nets for the Rangers. His team rallied and supported him and Yianni Peppas, Keenan Hack, Noah Park, Logan Hock and Kailum Belanic battled hard for the team.

Despite the Rangers playing poorly, for their standards, Jacob Fisher, Daniel Gubbels and Ayden Costello were flying all game and provided the team with sparks when needed.

The Rangers were happy to be able to get the point even though they didn’t play a solid game and remain focused on a solid finish. The team was reminded they need to play their game every night and not take games off just because an opponent if low in the standing. Lesson learnt!

Go Rangers!!
