The Kitchener Junior Rangers Minor Bantam AAA team wanted to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate during the Christmas Season. This year, the boys took part in the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Campaign.
Operation Christmas Child is an initiative run by Samaritan's Purse that gathers toiletries, small toys, school supplies and other small gifts for children in developing countries. For some of these less fortunate children, the shoebox will be their only Christmas gift.
This year, all of the collected shoeboxes are being sent off to the Ukraine. A big congratulations to the team on a job well done. The boys managed to fill 25 shoeboxes that will bring a smile to many children at Christmas time.
