Meet Your Minor Midget AAA Players - #77 Ethan Judkowitz
When selecting a hockey club, the Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA team not only look at the player on the ice but also the player as a member of our community and a role model to other Jr. Rangers players within the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association system.

Each weak we'll profile a member of the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA hockey club so you'll get to know them a little more outside of their play on the ice.

This week we're proud to introduce #77 Ethan Judkowitz.

Ethan is versatile right shot player who can play forward or defense.  Ethan learned to skate at the age of 8 and is in his 2nd year with the Kitchener Jr. Rangers AAA hockey club.  Ethan played forward last year and this year he’s focusing on defense.  When you watch Ethan play you immediately notice his strong skating stride with quick acceleration and the ability to change direction quickly.  His favourite meal is burritos and he says his mom makes the best chocolate chip cookies.

Along with three of his teammates Ethan attends Victus Academy.  There he says History is his favourite subject while Science doesn’t rank quite as high.  He is the oldest in his family, he has a younger sister who is 9.   Born in California, Ethan is known as “Cali” to his teammates and his best friend is Cody Neilson.   While Ethan doesn’t have a favourite song or dance move, he does say that his favourite movie is “Cars”.  To quote Lightning McQueen, “KA-CHOW!!”

When not at the rink Ethan says he’s not a video game guy but he does like to watch Netflix.  San Jose Sharks is the team of choice for Ethan and his favourite NHL player is Finnish born Joonas Donskoi.   Ethan’s favourite hockey memory was scoring an overtime goal in a hockey tournament giving his team the victory.

When not playing hockey or watching Netflix Ethan travels.   His passport is very full as he’s traveled to the following locations: US, Mexico, England, Spain, Germany, Israel, Bahamas, Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, Grand Cayman, Italy and China.  We're happy you made a stop in Canada the last couple of years Ethan.

Ethan is a tremendous young man who brings a strong work ethic every to the rink. We’re very proud and fortunate to have Ethan as such a role model and member of the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA program.
