KJR Minor Midget AAA Players Selected in the OHL Priority Draft
The Ontario Hockey League held their Minor Midget AAA Priority Draft today and the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget team had 5 players selected.

Marko Sikic - 3rd Round, 55th overall - Guelph Storm

In Marko, Guelph receives a player with size, skill and leadership.  As captain of the Jr. Rangers Marko was a leader on and off the ice.  He leads by example and plays a full 200 foot game doing whatever is necessary for his team and teammates to have success

Braeden Bowman - 5th Round, 96th overall - Guelph Storm

Another Jr. Rangers who will make his home just east down highway 7 Braeden is a big, strong, power winger who not only has an outstanding shot with a quick release, but his big body plays strong along the boards.  His no panic patience allows him to read the play and make strong hockey plays both offensively and defensively.

Luc Brzustowski - 6th Round, 120th overall - SSM Greyhounds

A solid defenseman who has great agility, mobility and composure in all situations.  Luc will get an opportunity to play alongside KJR Minor Midget Alumni Cole MacKay in the north.  The greyhounds picked up a perfect fit for their teaching coaching staff as Luc will develop and improve quicker then they imagine.

Matt Sop - 7th Round, 135th overall - Kitchener Rangers

The Rangers have selected a highly skilled forward who sees the ice very well and has tremendous skills and puck control in tight areas.  Matt is very excited to have the opportunity to wear the Ranger jersey for his entire playing career.  Nothing like a highway 7 rivalry with his minor midget line mates to keep the Kitchener Guelph rivalry strong in the OHL.

Pat Brown - 14th Round, 267th overall - Barrie Colts

An extremely fast and skilled centreman who is strong on draws will make Barrie proud of this pick.  Pat is deceivingly strong and has tremendous poise and focus in all areas of his game.  His work ethic allows Pat to win battles in all zones on the ice.

40 players were drafted from the Alliance.  Congratulations to the 5 players selected from the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA program.  To those not selected continue to work hard and push toward your dreams.  302 players are selected while 1000's are not.  One day doesn't define you however the choice and work ethic you move forward with from this day does.  There are plenty of players in the NHL whose name wasn't selected in the OHL Priority Draft. Continue to pursue your dreams!!

We wish all of you the best of luck and we look forward to following your careers.  Continue to make your families and Kitchener Minor Hockey proud
