Hello Parents,
We hope that you had a safe and happy summer and that you and your families are rejuvenated and ready for another amazing hockey season! As coaches, we aim to make the tryout process a welcoming and positive experience for the players being evaluated. During tryouts we will ask the players to work hard, do their best and have fun. These players are very young and we want them to grow from the opportunity of trying out for this team, regardless of the outcome.
Below are the details for players trying out for the 2018/19 Kitchener Jr. Rangers MD Novice Red.
***All players trying out for the Novice Red, Blue or White attend both September 4th and September 6th sessions***
September 4, Activa – PJD: Tryout
5:00-6:00pm - last name A-H
6:00-7:00pm - last name I-R
7:00-8:00pm - last name S-Z
September 6, Activa – PJD: Scrimmage
5:00-6:00pm - last name A-H
6:00-7:00pm - last name I-R
7:00-8:00pm - last name S-Z
***Following this tryout, players invited to continue with Novice Red will have their ID numbers posted on the Novice Red team page. Players not continuing will consult the Novice Blue or White team pages for further details***
September 11, Activa – PJD: Tryout
5:30 - 6:30pm
***No player releases after this ice time***
September 12, Kitchener Auditorium – Dom Cardillo Ice: Intersquad Game
6:15 - 7:15pm
***Following this tryout, families will individually meet with the coaches. Players continuing with the tryout process will be invited in person at this time***
***Players not invited to continue with the Novice Red will automatically be joining the Novice Blue and White tryout process***
September 13, Activa – PJD: Exhibition Game vs. New Hamburg Huskies
7:00-8:00pm
***Final Novice Red player selections will be made after this exhibition game***
