Congratulations to our Jr. Ranger Red team for completing the playoffs and heading to the Semi-Finals beginning next week.
To recap their success this season, our Major Atom Red team finished tied for first place with Waterloo after completing 20 games during the regular season. With just seven losses all year, we are extremely proud of this group of players. We shared with the team that they have only allowed 3 goals against in just five games the entire season. To put that into context, the team has allowed just 2 goals or less in all but five games all year. That is pretty remarkable in a season that began in September!
In a tight tier 1 playoff group with six ties for our team in twelve games...it became obvious for the top four teams, it is going to take a special effort to win this East/Central Championship!
Congratulations to our Kitchener Blue team for securing first seed in the playdowns. It is going to be a fantastic couple series to wrap up the season with some very exciting hockey yet to come for this very competitive group of teams.
