Welcome to Minor Bantam MD Tryouts 2018-2019!
Good evening parents, guardians, and parents,
Tomorrow we will begin MD tryouts for Minor Bantam. Players will have the opportunity to make one of two KJR MD teams, Red and Blue. Due to a plethora of talent in this age group, both coaches, David Horne and myself, will be tasked with the near impossible responsibility of selecting only two rosters worth of players, out of near 90 KMHA registrants.
Due to this incredible demand, each player will be placed on one of four squads, A, B, C, or D and we will likely not make initial releases until after the third ice time. All players will stay on their initial roster, provided there aren't any unforeseen circumstances, such as no-shows, or injuries. That said, goalies should be prepared to move between rosters due to the currently uneven number of goalies per roster (subject to change). Skaters will learn of their rosters at the first tryout session, upon registration. Due to the special nature of the position, the goalies who will be required to dress in the first game are listed below:
Team A: R. Cassidy, B. Mathews, N. Neath
Team B: Z. Wick, O. Neomytka, M. Wright
Make sure to stop by the registration table upon arrival to receive your "500" series identification number, and game pinnie.
Please come ready to compete, but most importantly, to have fun, while spending time with friends!
