Rangers Unleash on Bulldogs
The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Blue team had an impressive offensive evening against the Burlington Bulldogs winning 7 to 1.

Aydan Costello was flying all night and was rewarded with two goals in the game and the Player of the Game Award. He opened and closed the scoring. Costello’s first goal was set up by Keenan Hack and Ethan Lafleur and his second was from Jacob Reid-Brant. Reid-Brant also had an unassisted goal and controlled the puck like his stick was a magnet.

Connor Coughlin had a goal on the power play from Hack, Hack’s  second assist of the game, and Connor Pinos. Kailum Belainic had a nice goal from Reid-Brant and then Belanic picked up an assist on a Spencer Bulyaki goal. Evan Peori used his speed to score from Jack Masters and the Rangers never looked back.

Several Ranger players were stand out in the game and worked hard to help the team get into scoring position. Noah Roden, Kodi Blackshaw, Andrew Bishop and Noah Park were all resilient and hard working.

Hayden Smith picked up the win for the Rangers and made an exceptional pad save in close when the Bulldogs had momentum and were trying to get back into the game.

Next up the Rangers travel to Cambridge to play the Hawks and should the Rangers play with the same effort and intensity the Rangers will be hard to handle.

Go Rangers!
