Rangers Soar Over Hawks
The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Blue team continued their offensive success with a 5 to 1 win over the Cambridge Hawks Sunday evening.

Once again Jacob Reid-Brant played a brilliant game. This time Reid-Brant had two goals and two assists to go along with his Player of the Game award. Reid-Brant’s first assist opened the scoring for the Rangers when he found a streaking Jake Masters who made no mistakes and Master’s returned the favour assisting on Reid-Brant’s second goal. Kodi Blackshaw had the assist on the other Reid-Brant goal and it was Ayden Costello who capitalized on the other Reid-Brant assist. Blackshaw also had an assist on Spencer Bulyaki’s first period goal. Bulyaki has scored in back to back games for the Rangers.

Aiden Radatus picked up the win and flashed some leather on a beautiful glove save. Radatus was strong all game and made key saves when called upon.

The Rangers had solid team defense as well in the game. Connor Pinos was solid again boxing players out, as was Keenan Hack, who helped generate offense with his speed. Kailum Belanic was another defender who gave the Rangers some speed out of their zone. Andrew Bishop was a rock for the Rangers and set the tone with his calm play.

Up front the Rangers players did a great job backchecking. Tyler Kramp was called up by the Rangers, replacing Carter Schade, and was key on penalty kill and getting pucks deep. Noah Roden, Evan Peori, and Connor Coughlin all cycled the puck great in the Hawks end and frustrated the Cambridge players.

It was a good weekend for the Rangers outscoring the opposition 12 to 2 and certainly impressed their coaches with their effort and intensity. The Rangers will look to continue their strong play and will be rewarded if they can keep it up!

Go Rangers!
