The
Lady Rangers travelled to the Albert McCormick Arena for the first
meeting of the season with the Waterloo Ravens.
A late Saturday night game had the Lady Rangers playing “away” against the Ravens at Albert McCormick arena. Although out shooting the Ravens in the first two periods, some questionable passing and failure to “hit the net” had the game tied at “zero” heading into the break. A better third with several nice touch passes and a power play marker late in the game gave the ladies the “W”.
Much like our “neighbours to the south”, there was certainly no love loss in Waterloo with the ladies taking almost a full period in penalties. Better first passes, talk (and more talk), along with staying out of the box will keep your pace of play at a more consistent level. Don’t lose the importance of these games.
