The Lady Rangers hosted the Guelph
Gryphons for their second meeting of the season.
After a twelve day hiatus from game hockey, the Lady Rangers welcomed the Guelph Gryphons for a Saturday home game. It can never be said that Kitchener suffers from “homer hockey”. After several trips to the box the Gryphons finally capitalized on a late first power play marker in what would be the game’s only goal. Although there were some momentary lapses in puck possession, the ladies played hard, “killed” amazingly and competed on a much better level than the previous Gryphon game. While we can’t control the officials, the suspension occurred to the only ones who are supposed to get them! Please continue to let the coaching staff do the talking (clapping).
Keep working on the “practice” drills. They are done for a reason. You still have six weeks before your execution counts.
The coaching staff would also like to welcome back "88" to the ice. While your "stats" work was appreciated, you're on ice work will be appreciated more!
