Meghan Wright was once again tremendous for the Rangers and stood tall for the team when they ran into penalty trouble in the third period.

Player of the Game Award winner Colin Starr had a pair of goals to go along with a pair of assists in the game. Starr lined up as a centre, a winger and defender in the game showing off his versatility. Will Halter had an assist on both Starr goals and Ryan McConnell collected one of his three assists in the game on Starr’s goals. McConnell assisted on Brett Herniman’s goal along with Michael Rogoz and Halters goal, along with Starr. Tyler Oude-Voshaar continued his hot play with a goal assisted by Starr and Logan Hock.

The Rangers had a fantastic team game with some amazing energy from guys like Freddie Law, Braeden Buck, Shawn Parliament and Jacob Ancich. The Rangers defense was spectacular with Dezi Deneau, Evan Skill, Ethan Shular and Rashaun Williamson playing a lot of minutes and making smart plays with the puck.

The Rangers will need to save their best for Sunday as they prepare to battle the highest seed to advance from the quarter finals. The coaches have been really happy with the boy’s effort to compete and willingness to play where asked when the coaches needed to make adjustments.

If the players keep up the great attitudes and work ethic the sky is the limit for them.

Go Rangers!
