Rangers Put Leash on Bulldogs
The Kitchener Jr Rangers Select Blue team came together and played a team game in their 4 to 1 win over the Burlington Bulldogs Tuesday evening.

The Rangers moved the puck well and did a much better job in their positional assignments.

Jacob Ancich opened the scoring in the first period when he was set up by Ryan McConnell and McConnell then teamed up with Ancich in setting up Will Halters goal. Rashaun Williamson put a rocket past the Bulldogs goalie from Ancich and Halter. Brett Herniman dangled in the zone, after Logan Hock moved the puck to him, then made a pretty dish to a streaking Shawn Parliament for the fourth goal.

The Rangers forwards all had strong games. Both Michael Rogoz and Tyler Oude-Voshaar supported well in the defensive zone. The spark plug play of Freddie Law helped pick up the team when the score was tied and Braeden Buck had a series of outstanding passes.

Zackary Wick made key saves when the team ran into penalty trouble. Especially when the team was down two men and the Bulldogs had a series of scoring chances.

Wick had help from Evan Skipp and Dezi Deneau who both played great games on defense. Ethan Shular and Colin Starr were also stand outs and controlled plays in all zones.

The Rangers will have a couple practices before heading into the Christmas break on a high note and will be set to work hard in the New Year! The coaches and players would like to wish the parents a safe and Happy Holiday Season!

Go Rangers!
